PROGRAMMING AND OPERATING YOUR
MPEG-2 DIGITAL SATELLITE RECEIVER

Some supplementary instructions to get you started 

Connecting an existing C & Ku-Band System
Parts Required:
One 2-input DiSEqC Switch
Two HFS-2 Power Dividers
Five RG-6 Jumper Cables

Connect C-Band LNB input cable to input
of C-Band HFS-2 Power Divider.

Connect Ku-Band LNB input cable to 
input of Ku-Band HFS-2 Power Divider.

Powered output (right side) of each 
HFS-2 goes to appropriate C or Ku-Band Input on Analog Receiver.

DC Blocked output (left side):
C-Band to DiSEqC input port #1.
Ku-Band to DiSEqC input port #2

DiSEqC Output to MPEG-2 LNB IN port.

Connecting an existing C-Band system
Parts Required:
One HFS-2 Power Divider
Two RG-6 Jumper Cables

Connect C-Band LNB cable to
Input of HFS-2 Power Divider.

Connect Powered output (right side)
to Analog Receiver LNB Input.

Connect DC Blocked output (left side)
to MPEG-2 Receiver LNB Input.

Connecting a standalone Ku-Band system
Connect RG-6 cable between LNBF at dish and receiver (indoors).
