The PICO USM-8D is a low cost frequency agile modulator developed for use in adding satellite, VCR or security video channels to an existing home distribution system.  It allows the addition of channels over ULTRABAND (Cable 65 to 139) or UHF (Broadcast 14 to 83) frequencies at a very low cost.  This modulator has a double sideband, +7dBmV minimum output that is free from spurious distortions.  Microprocessor controlled Phase Locked Loop circuitry allows selection of the output channel to be made from front panel.  Selected channel number is displayed in the channel selection window.  The agile design provides maximum flexibility while allowing installers to use one model covering both bands

   1   CATV - TV LED INDICATOR     On when CATV Mode is in use
   2   CHANNEL UP             3 =  CHANNEL DOWN
    4   MODE   Push button to access mode options.
                       Then use CHANNEL DOWN to choose mode.
                       Use CHANNEL UP or DOWN to choose desired channel.
    5  MODE INDICATOR LED    Position indicates operation in CATV Standard,
                       HRC or IRC modes.  When off, unit is operating in UHF TV mode.
    6  CHANNEL DISPLAY    Displays channel number and mode.
    7  RF OUTPUT    Connect this output to TV or distribution system.
   8  AUDIO INPUT            9   VIDEO INPUT
  10  POWER INPUT   Connect to wall adapter with custom length of RG-6 cable.
  11  ON-OFF SWITCH    Turn power on and off.
